Welcome to the

Humanities 101 Foundation

The Humanities 101 Foundation was founded by and for autistic individuals. We celebrate human diversity and the human experience by exploring and appreciating stories and experiences to cultivate empathy, critical thinking, and a deeper connection for all humans.

We offer human-centered research and support to harness the untapped potential and ultimately illuminate the beauty of the human experience through compassion and understanding.

We strive to provide neurodivergent inclusion and acceptance education and outreach to the global community. We also seek to provide support and resources to autists, their families, and their communities. We believe that access and belonging leads to a stronger community.

Humanities 101 Foundation is a local autism education outreach charity that seeks to raise awareness about autism, support people with autism and their families, and aids organizations in fostering an inclusive community.

Our Areas of Interest

  • Inclusive Education

We strive to make learning happen WHERE and WHEN you are. We believe that knowing more about our fellow humans can only lead to more understanding and compassion. By using Micro-accommodations, we help our partners implement Universal Design for Learning in manageable steps.

  • Human-Centered Solutions

From UBI to sleep research, we work to make the latest in all research that is related to humans accessible to the world at large. We employ a team of scholars and doers from around the world to answer the tough questions and provide workable solutions.

  • Disability Outreach

Stories are essential to who we are as humans. One of our biggest projects is the normalization of “no normal.” Our projects seek to document as many human stories about myriad topics in the human experience.

Commitment to Neurodiversity Inclusion

The National Institute of Health estimates that 15-20% of the world’s population is neurodiverse. Neurodiversity includes disorders like ADHD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and Tourette’s (just to name a few). This means that there are 1.2 to 1.6 BILLION neurodiverse humans on our globe.

Those humans are employees, citizens, and a number of other stakeholders. Both the private and public sectors need to embrace the “new normal of no normal” as they navigate their way through the 21st Century.

We at Humanities101 have over two decades of academic experience in human-center studies. We with all levels of organizations to bring a human-centered focus to their projects, products, and services.
