One of the first resources and micro-accommodations that Humanities 101 developed was our Nonspeaking Communication Aide.
Not everyone has the ability to speak all the time without it being highly dysregulating.
Tools that offer an alternative way to convey needs can help an individual with selective mutism during times of overstimulation.
Nonspeaking moments are valid.
Our intent with this sticker is to help individuals express their thoughts and needs, making it easier for them to communicate and connect with others.
